This is an excellent way to get organized and understand the roles, rules and responsibilities at Roosevelt Middle School.

8th Grade

  • Get to know your teachers, counselor, and administrator.
  • Get organized! Use your agenda for classroom assignments and hall pass.
  • Take good notes and follow up on teachers requirements.
  • Set high academic goals and maintain them.
  • Develop time management skills; be organized.
  • Learn about promotion requirements for 9th grade; Get ready for high school
  • Maintain all the expectations of 8th grade
  • Learn the role, rules, and responsibilities so you can follow them properly.
  • Keep an accurate record of your quality points for promotion to 9th grade; talk to your counselor.
  • Participate in all of the 8th-grade activities.
  • Get involved in extracurricular activities. Try to join one of our clubs or after school sports.
  • Keep parents involved in your school academic and social activities.
  • Everything you do counts so make the most of all your opportunities
  • Get into the school spirit! Enjoy your last year in middle school make sure you participate in everything! The memories you make today will carry on through the rest of your life. Go Devils!
